Soul Unwinding Bodywork

The anti massage. In an effort to align body, mind, and soul, this is a treatment deisgned to unwind the physical tissue of the body in an artistic flow. By attuning to your body and listening, I can tailor to the somatic needs of the moment and begin to unwind years of stuck postural patterning. With no routine or structure in mind, I let the body tell me where to work and apply pressure. I may work on some areas and not others, and it may look uneven on each side. This is because I am working withe body as a whole, unravelling the tissue like a ball of yarn. Each treatment may include working with the fascia, the energy system, trigger points or the denser physical layers.

Unwinding can allow the nervous system can simultaneously exhale and begin to heal in parasympathetic. Chronic tension can melt away. This style of bodywork is a wonderful aid to all healing journeys. The spaciousness that opens up in your body will open up space within your mind. That’s how the light gets in.

Treatments are performed on a massage table with full draping.
